At high intermediate games, we expect players to be able to have a good understanding of different volleyball systems and court positioning/awareness (especially in a 5-1 system), as well as fill at least one of the following roles at a consistent level: DS, one of the front row positions, setter. Players are allowed to be less skilled at the net, if they are more skilled in either passing or setting.
